"Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations."
______________________________________________________________________________
Let us—as the 2026 National Day of Prayer theme calls us—glorify God among the nations by seeking Him in all generations. In a time of uncertainty and division, we come together in unity, humility, and hope, lifting our voices to the One who hears and responds.
This year, we place special emphasis on the younger generations, praying they would be strengthened, empowered, and healed, and that cycles of suffering would be broken through the work of SDLF’s “Just One Thing” Initiative. We believe prayer is not passive—it is powerful, transformational, and essential to the flourishing of our communities.
Join leaders of faith from across San Diego as we gather to celebrate the United States National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7. We are honored to welcome Former Mayor Kevin Faulconer, Pastor Bob Botsford, and additional presenters who will help guide our hearts and minds in focused prayer for our nation, our city, and future generations.
We are especially grateful to have Commander Mike Kuypers (USN, ret.) serving as our Master of Ceremonies, calling us together with purpose and leading us as we unite in prayer for San Diego—its leaders, families, schools, churches, and neighborhoods. We are also hopeful that the Martin Luther King Choir will be able to join us that morning, adding a powerful expression of worship and unity.
This gathering is more than an event—it is a moment to pause, to listen, and to stand together in faith for the spiritual and moral health of our city and nation.
Register now—seating is limited.
We invite you to sponsor a table and attend with your Forum partners, their wives, and friends, creating space for meaningful connection and shared purpose.
Don’t miss the power of this gathering! Let’s come together and SEEK the prayer we need!
